Shared note	Samuel Wilfred Goodall was born on May 3, 1892, in Tibshelf, Derbyshire. He married Edith Johnson on January 27, 1917, in Tibshelf, Derbyshire. They had four children during their marriage. In 1928 the family emigrated to Canada, settling in the Elk Valley in British Columbia. Wilfred, Edith, Muriel, Esme and Derek returned to England in 1935, arriving 23 December in Liverpool on the Duchess of Atholl. They then lived at Newton for a time until moving to Derby. Cynthia, who was married with small children, remained in Canada. From 1940-1986, Wilfred and Edith lived in Chaddesden, Derby, mainly at 40 Suffolk Avenue. He died 11 April 1986 at the home of his daughter Esme at 30 Glenfield Lane, Kirby Muxloe, Leicester. He would have been 94 on 3 May.
