There were various Brown families in Dent, but none at the right time (around 1732) had a child called Margaret. The nearest were:

• Margaret Brown bp 10 Oct 1743 at Sedbergh, parents Richard and Agnes (married 21 Aug 1725 at Sedbergh);
• Margaret Brown bp 27 Dec 1743 at Sedbergh, parents John and Frances (married 20 May 1741 at Sedbergh);
• Margaret Brown born30 Aug 1745 at Dent, daughter of Richard

.These though would have made her only 14 and 12 when she married in 1757. There don't seem to be any gaps in their children to suggest a late christening, so probably not her. Also no Richard in "our" Margaret's children. The main Brown families had as their father John Brown also son of John Brown, but they stopped having children around 1725.
Also checked Garsdale and Sedbergh registers by hand.

So the nearest was Margaret Brown bp 30 Jul 1732 at Bentham, about 14 miles south of Dent, parents Adam Brown and Agnes Atkinson (who married 8 Jun 1731 at Bentham, FHL 100611177 #41/83). There don't seem to be any "obvious" Margaret Browns getting married at or around Bentham, so it could be her. The problem with these parents is that their rnames were not passed on to "our" Margaret's children.
