According to Paula Healey (Thompson tree 25651273), Coopers was a farmhouse on the fell to the east of Tebay and SW of Gaisgill--it is marked on the 1:25000 map but there are no buildings any more. Wife Sarah Thompson from Blackett Bottom (just SW of Grayrigg, perhaps a quarter of a mile)), daughter of James Thompson of Briggflatts in Sedbergh (1m SW of centre of Sedbergh), mother Barbara.
