B Oct-Dec 1870 N Wingfield, ref: Chesterfield, 7b 559 (Note: date cannot be 1871, as in 1871 census taken 2 April, Lizzie is 4 months old. Accoridng to 1901 census, she was born in Grassmoor (1.6m north of N Wingfield).
Lizzie Goodall is Elizabeth Marrisons GG grandmother.
Lizzie was a bit of a goer in her day and had 3 children out of wedlock. George b. 1891 d. 1892 Worksop, Nottinghamshire. Arthur b. Dec 1893 Doncaster, died 28 July 1948 Laxton Notts. Emily b. 1896 Doncaster South Yorks,

Lizzie then married George Sidney Lindley and in 1901 Arthur and Emily became Goodall Lindley. 1901 Living in Doncaster with her husband George, children and sister Annie & her husband and daughter, now has become Elizabeth. When Arthur joined up in 1918 he was told he had to be Goodall or Lindley and chose Goodall. Lizzie took to her grave who the father/fathers were of the children.
During WWII, she was living in Laxton near Arthur and a bomber on his way to Sheffield saw a motorcycle light and bombed Laxton. She was injured with Shrapnel embeded in her brain and got a war pension of 3 shillings a week. She was the only injury in the village as my mom had just left her house and was on her way home. She developed Senile Dementia in later life but whether this had anything to do with her injury we do not know (from Elizabeth Marrison).
