In 1939, was living in Tibshelf with brother Thomas. The census gives the wrong date of birth - it gives 13 Dec 1895 instead of 13 Dec 1894. It was definitely 1894. Had 2 children, James Stapleford b 17 Feb 1920 Tibshelf d 17 Feb 1999 Surrey BC, Edith Mary Stapleford 1921-2002. Interestingly, James Stapleford and his wife Joan Rhodes emigrated to Canada in 1951, and their descendants live in Surrey, Vancouver. D 23 Jan 1974 at Glapwell, 6m NE of Tibshelf near Ault Hucknall. 7mSE of Chesterfield.
