Reported variously as 18 March 1676 and 1677, correct date is 1677 John Goodale, son of Thomas Goodale and Mary, christened 18 March 1677. Born in Ashover, also seen under Chesterfield, probably a Bishops Transcript of the area. Birth reported in original Parish records for Ashover, so presumably Chesterfield is a copy. Married Doroth Hodgkinson in North Wingfield 13 May 1707 or 15 May 1707. IGI says 15th, but original Parish records show 13 May 1707. Then lived in Ashover, all children born there. Died 29 Apr 1732 at Ashover.
