In 1834 she was working as a servant and was made pregnant by Michael Goodall. At the time he was 53 and she was 20. The child was born 2 Mar 1834 and originally called Thomas Jenkinson, but later, 3 Oct 1834 at Ellastone, Michael married Rhoda and Thomas became Thomas Goodall.
