Goodall Genealogy

Born 11 June 1869, Lambton, NSW Australia (date from Jane Mosse), parents Robert Baird and Ellen Rowland.
Following her father's death in 1874, she arrived in England 12 Jul 1875 with her mother, and came into the care of her father (Robert Baird)'s sister Jane Brown nee Baird (b 24 Dec 1822 at Heberon) and husband Joseph Brown (b 5 Sep 1820 at Shilbottle), who had married 24 Oct 1866 at Bedlington Parish Church, Northumberland.
Marriage banns were published in Derby St Werburgh in August 1885 between Daniel Richard Goodall and Jane Baird of Bedlington, Northumberland (she was just 16 at the time), but they don't seem to have married until 23 Aug 1887 at Bedlington, Northumberland. Strangely though there seems to have been a period in Australia in 1886, as we also have a record of a Jeanie Baird Goodall b1886 at Fitzroy, Victoria, parents Daniel Richard Goodall and Jeanie Baird. The child doesn't appear in the UK though.
1891 Census shows Jane in Newcastle upon Tyne living with husband Daniel and child Sophia Jane Goodall (b 30 Aug 1888).
Second child Mary Ellen Goodall (b 20 Aug 1892) at Newcastle.

According to probate data, which was not granted until 1944, the date of death was 26 Dec 1898.
