Christened 27 Oct 1861, but born in July 1860, as she is mentioned in the 1861 census.
In 1881 census, she is working in Nottingham.
Had an illegitimate child, Herbert Hassall, 4 Feb 1883 in Beeston.
After that, we know nothing about what happened to her. Her child Herbert lives with his aunt Elizabeth Hassall and uncle William Turner in Beeston (1891, 1901 censuses). It doesn't appear that she died in childbirth, as she registered the birth. She does not appear in the 1891 census. There are various marriages in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire after 1883 that could be her, but she does not appear with these names in the 1891 census, and if she did, why wasn't her son with her? So most likely she married, but then died between 1883 and 1891, possibly in childbirth. Have checked the deaths in this period but not found anything likely. Not sure how this can be progressed, unless we start buying all the possible marriage certificates, and hope for someone from the family to be a witness. Being as her son lived with Elizabeth Hassall Turner, the most likely close relative would have been Elizabeth.
