Shared note	Illegitimate child of Sarah Johnson, born 1868 in Staunton Harold. The father was unknown, possibly William Laban, whom she married 14 Nov 1869. In the 1871 census, Frederick is registered as Frederick Laban, but by the 1881 census he had reverted to Frederick Johnson, and was living with his grandparents, Joseph Johnson and Sarah Watson. He kept the name Johnson all his life. He married Fanny Sheppard 26 Jun 1888 at Worthington. He died 1916.
