Shared note	Some confusion over dates and names in some of her documents. I am pretty sure that she was born Jan-Mar 1861 at Markfield, ref: Market Bosworth 7A 71 (need to buy certificate). When she married in 1888, her age was given as 29 (b1859), and her father's name as Henry, which is also confusing, as there is no trace of a Henry at that time. In the 1881-1891-1901-1911 census returns, her birthdates are respectively 1858-1862-1862-1859. From her death certificate, the date of birth would have been 1858. All in all, a bit strange. Coming back to father Henry, there is the possibility that her mother was first married to a Henry Sheppard, then perhaps he died and she married Joseph Sheppard. To prove or disprove this, we would need to buy some more birth certificates for her siblings, especially Joseph (b1856, possibly known as Job), Charles (b1858), or to check in the Parish Registers of Markfield.
