Daughter of William Astle (b1852) and Alice Essex, born 20 Nov 1874 in Tibshelf. As far as I can see, she was the first of the Johnson clan originally from Staunton Harold to be born in Tibshelf. In early 1875, Fanny Hassall, daughter of Thomas Johnson and Sarah Rushton Reed, was born in Tibshelf, so it could be that Thomas Johnson (b1852, son of William Astle and Frances Johnson) and his half-brother William Astle (b1852, son of Wiliam Astle and Hannah Higgins) were in contact, and perhaps even moved together to Tibshelf. In 1881 census, she was staying with her aunt Sarah Higgins and husband Edwin Street in Diseworth (about 5m north-east of Worthington, near Castle Donington). After that, not sure what happened to her.
