According to the Brown Family tree 158473954, he died 10 Jan 1992 at Clay Cross, registered at Chesterfield. His parents were Job Cook (Born 1887), mother Sarah Jane Spencer (1890-1962). They had a child Richard Lindsay Cook in 1949. At the same time, Thomas was having an affair with someone else, also got her pregnant, and a daughter called Tina was born. Not long afterwards, Thomas got his mistress pregnant again and they had a son, who was later adopted in Sheffield. Thomas did not marry his mistress, but later in Jan 1952 married Beryl Wardle (1928-2009).
