A bit of a mystery, no clear trace of her birth or baptism, we only know about her as she was unmarried and lived with her mother Frances Johnson until her mother's death in 1903. In 1911, she was staying with her half-sister Elizabeth Hassall and husband William Turner in Beeston. After that, I don't know what happened to her. I did consider that perhaps she and the other Hannah Hassall born in 1874 were the same person. The other Hannah was the daughter of William Astle junior and Alice Essex, and was born in Tibshelf. Unfortunately both Hannahs appear in the 1881 census in different places.
