Born 17 Sep 1871 (according to Willeman tree), baptised 2 Dec 1871 at Woodville St Stephen, birth registered at Ashby Oct-Dec 1871. The 1881 census says she was born in Coleorton, but the 1901 census has her birth correctly at Woodville, Derbyshire, near Swadlincote, about 8 miles from Coleorton. Can't find her in 1891 census, then she married 3 Oct 1891, and she was apparently resident at Coalville then. Children: John (Jack) b 14 Dec 1891 bp 20 Mar 1892 d 16 Mar 1945; Sarah Emily (Sally) b 2 Apr 1893 d1958; Florrie b 4 Jan 1895 d1971; Benjamin b 28 Sep 1898 d 1971; Henry (Harry) b 27 Sep1900 d1985; Frances b1906 d1976; William b1907. She died 7 Aug 1908 of complications following giving birth, aged 36 at Coalville. although she died young, most of her children lived to old age.
