Ruhama's father was John Johnson, a labourer, mother was Ann. Ruhama was born 1856 at Bilston, Staffs, about 3m SE of Wolverhampton. In 1881 living in Walsall with wife Ruhama, and mother Elizabeth Varnon. In 1891, living in Hicknall Torkard, Notts with wife Ruhama, children John William b2Q1877, Frederick b4Q1879 and Herbert b1Q1887, and mother-in-law Ann Johnson. In 1901, living in Bulwell, Notts, wih wife Ruhama, children Herbert, Charles and Harold, and mother-in-law Ann Johnson. In 1911, living in Bulwell with wife Ruhama, and children Herbert, Charles and Harold. Ruhama died 15 Apr 1932 at Bulwell. William, then aged 80, re-married 2Q1933 to Alice Ann Marsland (b2 Apr 1879). In 1939 William still living at same address in Bulwell, with new wife Alice Ann. Died 16 Apr 1945 at Nottingham.
