In 1876 his mother dies in Nottingham, and his father re-marries in Nottingham. So it is probable that he was in Nottingham around 1876. In 1881, her father and step-mother were still living in Nottingham, while his sister Selina was in Hucknall. There is no trace of him anywhere after 1871, he could have died but I could not find any trace of his death anywhere. He is not in any census returns. Perhaps he emigrated.
