In 1841 census, living with parents plus siblings Benjamin (1824), Frederick (1827), Sarah (1832) in Newbold. In 1851 census, still living with parents William and Sarah. Married 25 Dec 1854 at Belton-in-Rutland to Elizabeth Smith. In 1861 census, he is married to Elizabeth (b1836), and living with children Ada (b1856), Mary (b1859), Sarah (b1861). His mother Sarah (b1787) is also living with them. In 1871 census, living with wife, children and mother Sarah. Died 13 Sep 1912 at in Silver St, Whitwick, his daughter Ruth Rowell was present at the death.
