Lomas Genealogy

Born around 1827 at Ullesthorpe, Leics, father Thomas.
Could not find a suitable baptism record, the only one with father Thomas was born 29 Oct 1823 at Montsorrel, near Loughborough, baptised 30 Jul 1826 at Loughborough, parents Thomas Varnam and Mary Kind of Mountsorrel. The date of 1823 is though inconsistent with her age in the various later census returns, which generally indicate 1826. Her marriage certificate in 1847 says she was 21 (1827), and her age at death in 1889 was 61 (1827).
