Many ancestry trees (for example Susan Clark 44469952) say born 1735 at Armitage, but there is no such record as far as I can tell, nor at Rugeley. m 24 Sep 1758 to Mary Mellor at Rugeley St Augustine. Bit of a mystery where the wife Mary Mellor was from. "Colledge" does not seem to exist. possibly buried 3 Aug 1818 at Rugeley aged 87 (b1731)
