Baptism record not found (civil war), but there is a nice gap between children in 1664, and Mary married in 1686, so she would have been 21, which is reasonable. m 7 Aug 1686 at Sedbergh to James Nelson of Garsdale, Sedbergh PR transcripts p37 children: Elizabeth b about 1690 at Garsdale (ref: Nicola Thwaite) William b 29 Jun 1693 at Garsdale; d 3 Jul 1700 at Garsdale George d 11 Feb 1698 at Garsdale FHL 1849306/2 #217 (according to Nicola Thwaite, could possibly be son of James Nelson and Agnes Nelson who married 19 April 1695 at Garsdale FHL 1849306/2 #213, but I think this is unlikely, as there is no birth registered between the wedding and this death. So I suspect George was born before Garsdale records became available in 1694). Mentioned in father's will, made 1714, probated 1717.
