b 4 Mar 1671 at Cameley, parents John and Joane.
m 13 Oct 1698 at Farrigton Gurney to Mary Harding.
d 20 Nov 1729 at Cameley, aged 58

There is another Samuel Quarman who died 16 Mar 1748 at Cameley. If this were "our" Samuel, it woul d make him 77, a bit old for that time.

Birth 4 Mar 1671 at Cameley, parents John and Joane. You actually need a small act of faith to include this baptism. Parents John and Joane Quarman had 10 children in Cameley between 1664 and 1680. In the PRs, the names of Mary (b1666) and Samuel (b1671) cannot be read. For Mary, the BTs show her name clearly. Unfortunately, for Samuel, this is not true, that year is not available in the online BTs. However, we do know that the child baptised 4 Mar 1671 was male. The name Samuel does not appear anywhere else in the baptisms in Cameley for the time period. We also know that a Samuel Quarman married 13 Oct 1698 at Farrington Gurney (2m SE Cameley) to Mary Haring. Furthermore, there was a Samuel Quarman who died 29 Nov 1669 at Cameley, possibly a grandparent, which would be a good reason to name the next child born in 1671 as Samuel.
So I think it is a reasonable assumption that the child born in 1671 was named Samuel.
It is also probable that there was a child called John before 1664.
