Most likely died late 1667, as her daughter Alice Burton opted for Francis Procter as guardian 18 Feb 1668.

There is also the possibility that Margaret re-married 6 months after her husband's death to James Capstack of Clint (date 21 Aug 1652, FHL 1472792/1 #088). Clint is literally yards away from Hackergill, so it could have happened. There are a number of children assigned to James Capstack in the following years, but there seem to be two James around at the time, so difficult to differentiate between the births. No sign of the death of Margaret Capstack nor of Margaret Burton anytime from 1653 to 1668 when Alice Burton opted for the Procter guardianship. A mystery.

In the "not used" folder, the death of a Margaret Burton in 1675, and the marriage of Margaret Burton to James Capstack in 1652.
