Possibly the son of Francis b 1618--also in this tree --but no clear evidence to support it and quite a lot to suggest it is unlikely--

the Miles Thistlethwaite who signs the wills of Wilfred and James Burton also signs the will of George Burton of Audries in 1655 (pr 1662)-(I think you have this will too).
I've checked and re-checked these and am pretty sure now they are the same chap and that he is Miles of Littletown who died in 1688.
The will of John Thistlethwaite 1686 son of Francis has the bond signed by his brother Miles Thistlethwaite of Chappelhouses, I can't find another instance of this signature and it is not the same as Miles Thistlethwaite of Littletown.
So--it looks like not only is Miles of Littletown probably not the husband of a daughter of James Burton (Ann Burton) d 1680 and Alice nee Fawcett but he is probably not the son of Francis--
