Shared note
|
Born 22 Oct 1790 at Shover, parents Richard and Elizabeth. The 1851 census for Ashover has a Mary Walker, widow, born in Ashover and living alone, aged 60. The 1861 census has her described as a pauper, which is strange, why wasn't she living with one of the children? For 1841 in Ashover, I couldn't find Mary, ther nearest is a Mary Walker b1781, so not "ours". Mary died 1863, buried 12 Apr 1863 at Ashover. |
