In 1841, living at Blakely, Wombourne, occupation Nailer.
In 1851, living at Sedgley, nr Wombourne, occupation Bricklayer
In 1861, living at Sedgley, nr Wombourne, occupation Labourer
In 1871, living at Darlaston, with wife Mary, and daughter Eliza and her second husband Samuel Perry. Eliza's first marriage was to Cornelius Turner. The census return has a completely wrong location for the births of Eliza Passmore, William Passmore and Mary Ann MItchell nee Passmore! Instead of "Smester, Worcestershire" (which doesn't exist), it should be Wombourne, Staffs. Occupation is again Nailer.

Died 1Q1878 at West Bromwich. His death extract gives his age as 79, possibly this is a transcription error, and it should have read 70.

According to some ancestry trees, he is supposed to have emigrated to Ontario, Canada around 1871 and died 16 Feb 1897. This I believe is a mistake, and refers to another William Passmore, who was a farmer, and was born in 1813. This is supported by the 1891 census in Ontario, which gives his age as 78 (so born 1813), and the 1897 death certificate also indicates a birth around 1813, and his occupation as famer.
