Apparently married Mary Ann Wesley 6 Nov 1870 at Coventry Holy Trinity, but can't find marriage certificate, although the banns were published, and there appears to be a trancription in Warwickshire records, but this could just be a transcription of the banns. At the time, he was widowed, she was single. In 1871: living with wife Mary in Coventry. She was born around 1835 in Coventry. No trace of Mary's death before Edward married again, in 2Q1876 to Harriett Eliza Baskott at Coventry. No trace of this being a religious ceremony. Overall, a mysterious person. Died 26 Nov 1877 at Coventry.
