Shared note

An illegitimate son of Martha Jakeman, born 2Q1846, bp 10 Jan 1847 at Stowe 9 Churches. The birth record gives mother's maiden name as Irons, but the baptism record says his mother was Martha Jakeman. Irons was though Martha's mother's maiden name, so perhaps to the question "mother's maiden name?" she gave "her" mother's name, instead of repeating her own?
John Albert never seems to have lived with his mother Martha, but always with his grandparents.

In 1851, John Albert was living with Martha's parents Thomas and Sarah in Stowe (incorrectly registered as "son" instead of "grandson")., while Martha (already married to Reuben Lomas) was visiting another family nearby in Bilton, nr Rugby.
In 1861, John Albert was still living with Martha's parents Thomas and Sarah Jakeman in Stowe (incorrectly registered as "son" instead of "grandson").
In 1871, John Albert was living with his uncle and aunt James and Esther Irons. Perhaps this uncle was Sarah Irons' brother and so effectively uncle to John Albert.
John Albert died 23 Mar 1873 at Wolverton, Buckingham, probate 23 Jul 1873, proved by James Irons of Wolverton (b1825 Weedon Bec) (executor), who is stated in the 1871 census to be his uncle.

James Irons married 11 May 1851 at Wolverton to Esther Chamberlaine (b1829 at St Neots, Hunts).
No real proof that James was the brother of Sarah Irons. He was born 1825, she was born 1809, so it is just possible, she was born in Welton, he in Weedon Bec, quite close by.
