Shared note

Alban Buller was born 18 Dec 1868 at Neithrop, Warwicks at the Union Workhouse, mother Sarah Ann Buller, no father specified in birth certificate, but possibly Edward Jones, farmer (info from Alban's marriage certificate in 1891).
In 1871 Alban is not with his mother, but was living in Shotteswell, Warwickshire with John Buller (b1798) (his great-grandfather through his father Prince Buller) and Ann Buller (b1836, his aunt), and her illegitimate son Herbert Buller b1870 in Shotteswell. Ann subsequently married George Davenport 27 Oct 1875 at Burton Dassett.
In 1881, we have the strange situation of alban being registered twice, once with his great-grandfather John Buller (as in 1871), and the second with his mother Sarah Ann Buller and new husband William George, name registered as Allen Buller George.
He didn't keep the George surname, in 1891 he was living in Chesterton, Warwickshire, registered as Alban Buller/Butler.
He married 23 Nov 1891 to Annie Day at Chesterton, Warwicks, father's name given as Edward Jones, Farmer. A witness was Herbert Buller, son of Ann Buller Davenport, who grew up with him.
In 1901 living in Fillongley Warwicks with wife and children.
In 1911 in Elmdon, Warwicks (near Birmingham). Died 3Q1935 at Birmingham.

Some confusion with Alban Gardner Buller, also born 4Q1868 registered Banbury, but whose mother was Huggins. Alban Gardner died 24 Nov 1897 at Kings Norton, Worcestershire. Also, Alban Gardner's father was another Alban Gardner Buller, whereas the father of the Alban who married Annie Day was Edward Jones.
