Shared note

Richard was born 24 November 1811 in Ashover, Derbyshire and baptised 8 Dec 1811.
Died 6 April 1871, at Union Workhouse, Chesterfield.
He was unmarried and lived first with his parents (1841 census), then with brother William (1851 and 1861 census).
We originally thought that he was our ancestor, confusing him with another Richard b1803, who married Ann Slack in 1829.
