Shared note	Thomas Cuttell was born in Hayton 8 Feb 1710 (see parish records), and not in Clarborough as erroneously reported in the Bishops' Transcripts. After much deliberation, also now convinced after discussions with Catherine Stewart, that Thomas Cuttell did not die in 1722, and that the priest mistakenly wrote the name Thomas instead of Richard. The confusion was caused by Richard's father's death just two weeks earlier, also called Thomas Cuttell (agricola). See notes on Richard Cuttell b1720 for more explanations. Thomas must have been living in Hayton at the time of his marriage to Elizabeth Colton in Babworth, as he is described as "Thomas Cuttel parish de Hayton" on the wedding certificate. m 20 Aug 1732 to Elizabeth Colton in Babworth. Elizabeth was from Babworth, where all their children were born. Date of death estimated as 1795, but could have been any date from 1758-1795. In Salt Lake in May 2013, I checked all deaths in Babworth in that period, without success. I did find the death of his wife Elizabeth in 1795.
