Shared note

Unmarried. Sub post-mistress.
lived at 96 Westbury Ave, Wood Green, London.
Arranged for burial plot at Tottenham and Wood Green on 24 Feb 1939.
Died 14 Feb 1947, buried at Wood Green 20 Feb 1947, next to brother Anthony Edmondson, who was buried 3 Feb 1939.

In her will, she, like siblings Jane and Anthony, left everything to "George Edmondson - Civil Servant", while her brother William left everything to brother "George Edmondson, retired railway inspector". It is probable that this is the same brother George, even if as a railway employee, he was not strictly a Civil Servant. The fact that brother George died in 1943, so before her, seems to have escaped her attention!

Directions from WJ Lomas, written 22 March 1981:
To find grave number 3707 at Tottenham Cememtery, take tube from St Pancras to wood Green. Take Bus (left turn from tube station) to Bruce Castle, then cross road to Church Lane.
Alternatively, tube to Turnpike Lane, walk or bus down Westbury Ave, then bus to Bruce Castle (nearer that way).
Down Church Lane, passing All Hallows on right. Take public path with railings each side this cemetery until a bridge is reached. Continue over bridge and take first turn left. Count 17 graves, turn at stone marked "F.Harding" --- 10th grave on right.
