Shared note

Mary Anne Newton, b 23 Apr 1863 Derby, parents John Newton and Phebe Shaw. Christened 26 Oct 1865 at Green Hill Methodist Chapel, Derby, film 1785839, #875.
In 1871 Mary Anne Newton was living with parents John and Phoebe and siblings (Alice 14, Maria Phoebe 12, Rose 6, Lily 2) at 3 Lower Forester St, Derby. Mary Ann's age is wrong, given as 10, but in reality it was 7.
In 1881 Mary Anen Newton was living with parents John and Phoebe and siblings (Rose 14, Lily 11, Harry 8, John 6, David 4) in Derby at 64 Forester St.
She married Thomas William Goodall at Christ Church Derby 27 Dec 1884, ref: Derby 4Q 7B 871. Some extracts give 30 Nov 1884 as date, this is probably the marriage banns.
In 1891, Thomas and Mary Anne are living at 62 Forester St, which was the first major road on the left going down Green Lane. Mary's parents John and Phoebe were living next door at 64 Forester St, with children Lily 21, Harry 18, John 16, David 14, Albert 12
In 1901, Thomas and Mary and children Richard and Lawrence at living at 62 Forester St, next door to John (b1836 at Macclesfield Cheshire) and Phoebe (b1838 at Duffield) Newton, Mary's parents.
In 1911, Thomas and Mary were living at 99 Abbey St, Derby.
Mary died 7 May 1934 at Derby, and is buried in Nottingham Rd Cemetery with her husband. To find grave, enter main cemetery through the arches, turn left, follow path as it descends and turns slightly to the right. Grave is on right hand side close to the path (I found it by chance 14 July 2018 walking up from Reginald Rd entrance).
