Shared note
|
b 1811 at Coleorton, bp 19 May 1811 at Coleorton. I am pretty sure the priest made a mistake in transcribing the parents' names. He wrote them as "William and Mary", but they should have been "William and Sarah". This probably happened because the same day 19 May 1811 there were 2 christenings, the other was a child of William and Mary Wade. So the priest had already written William and Mary for the first child, and subconsciously wrote the same names again for the second. Furthermore, there is no trace of any William and Mary Johnson in the local area at that time. |
